18.1 million PS4 units sold

As announced by Sony, the sales of their latest console have successfully reached the 18.5 million, of which 4.1 million correspond to the consoles sold in the last month of last year (2014), during the festive season of Christmas. It also became known that the PlayStation Plus service subscribers reached 10.9 million , an increase of approximately three million over two months. Bear in mind , that the path of the console market started in November 2013 , and at this stage the PS4 leads the new generation consoles race.
Also more information are known about the subscription service "PlayStation Now". From January 13th the cost will be at 19.99 dollars per month or 44.99 dollars per quarter while PS4 holders in USA will have access to over 100 PS3 titles through the online service from Sony.

Limited edition PS4 "Dragon Quest"

Sony announced it's limited edition PS4 "Dragon Quest" at a press conference in Tokyo and will be released in Japan in 2015. Sony is releasing the limited edition PS4 in order to celebrate the release of their series game "Dragon Quest Heroes" which was also announced in Tokyo.
The silver console and DualShock 4 controller as shown in the picture has the Dragon's Quest mascot "Slime" printed on them while they have also added that metal "Slime" "melting" acting as a USB cover as well. Also the console clearly has a "Dragon Quest" decal at the corner of the console. 

Bare in mind that this limited edition PS4 is planned to be release only in Japan.

White Xbox One

The Verge confirmed that a white edition of the console, the same white Xbox One which was given to the launch team in November 2013, is believed to be launched around October by Microsoft alongside the release of Sunset Overdrive.

Microsoft also is preparing to release its first major Xbox One dashboard update in March fixing a number of issues with the Xbox Live service on the console, alongside other system fixes.
